Let’s start by creating a cycle using the Automatic Cycle Builder.
The automatic cycle builder combines several key elements and streamlines the process to quickly create a cycle thats perfectly tailed to its needs.
First you will need to go into the cycles page and select create cycle - then select the option "automatic"
Step 1 – Choose Your Training Split
This is where you decide how your training cycle is structured — basically, what type of workout each day will focus on.
You have five options:
Custom – Pick any workout type for any day in the cycle.
Body Part Split – Separate days for chest, back, shoulders, arms, and legs.
Full Body – Every workout hits the entire body.
Push/Pull/Legs – Push days (shoulders, chest, triceps), Pull days (back, biceps), and Leg days (lower body).
Upper/Lower – Upper body days (shoulders, chest, back, arms) and Lower body days (glutes, legs).
Once you’ve chosen the split that best suits your client’s goals, tap Next to move on.
Step 2 – Set the Cycle Duration
Here you decide how long your cycle will run and how many workouts it will include.
Cycle Length – How many days the cycle will last before it repeats.
Number of Workouts – How many individual workout sessions will be in the cycle.
Use the + and – buttons to adjust each setting.
Once your duration and workouts are set, tap Next to move on.
Step 3 – Allocate Workouts and Rest
Now you choose what happens on each day of your cycle.
You can assign a workout type (e.g., Push, Pull, Legs) or set it as a Rest day.
You can also turn on "Assign focus areas" if you want to give extra attention to a specific muscle group in that workout.
Just go through the list of days and set them up the way you want your training and rest to flow.
When you’re happy with the plan, tap Next to move forward.
Step 4 – Bias Focus Areas
Now you can choose specific parts of your focus areas to target in each workout.
Select a specific part of each focus area (e.g., Upper Pecs, Lower Lats) to bias.
This will influence the exercises chosen so they target that part of the muscle.
If nothing appears here, it means no focus areas were set in the previous step.
When you’re happy with your selections, tap Next to move forward.
Step 5 – Rep Scheme
Now you can set how many exercises each workout will have and the rep scheme for each one.
Choose the number of exercises for the workout.
Set sets, target rep range, Reps In Reserve (RIR), and rest time for each exercise.
Exercises will be assigned later based on these settings.
When you’re happy with your setup, tap Next to move forward.
Step 6 – Client Level
Choose the experience level of the client this cycle is for.
This ensures only exercises that match the client’s ability will be assigned.
Advanced – Highly proficient, handles heavy loads and advanced variations.
Intermediate – Solid foundation, ready for progression and moderate complexity.
Beginner – Building basics, focus on stability, control, and simple movements.
Once you’ve selected the level, tap Next to move forward.
Step 7 – Review Your Cycle
Now you’ll see your entire cycle compiled based on the selections you made in the previous steps.
Review each day’s workouts and rest days.
Check the average weekly sets to ensure your volume is where you want it.
