Creating a workout is made easy in CoreCoach, let's walk through how to do it.

To create a workout, navigate to the Training tab.

To create a workout, press the "+ New Workout" button.

Creating a Workout – Workout Details

When creating a new workout, you’ll start on the Workout details page. Here you can:

  • Upload an image – add a custom image for your workout (optional).

  • Name your workout – give your workout a title so it’s easy to identify.

  • Add a description – enter a short description of what the workout is about.

  • Coaching notes – include any extra notes or instructions for your clients.

Once you’ve filled this out, you can tap Add exercise to start building your workout

Adding Exercises to a Workout

When you tap Add exercise, you’ll be taken to the exercise library where you can:

  • Search for exercises – use the search bar or scroll through the CoreCoach exercise library to find what you need.

  • Select an exercise – tap on an exercise to add it to your workout.

Once added, you can customise the details of that exercise:

  • Sets & reps – adjust the number of sets and target rep range.

  • Load, tempo & rest – set training specifics such as %1RM, tempo, and rest times.

  • Advanced options – create supersets or use advanced set targets for more complex programming.

While creating or editing a workout, you can tap the three dots in the top right corner of the screen. This will open additional options that let you:

  • Reorder exercises – quickly change the order of exercises in your workout.

  • Show sets per muscle group – view how many sets are allocated to each muscle group.

  • Hide exercise attributes – remove movement pattern, difficulty, and load source tags from view.

  • Hide exercise muscle groups – hide muscle group labels if you prefer a cleaner layout.

When you’re done, you can continue adding more exercises or tap Finish to save the workout.

Using Your Workout

Once you’ve created and saved your workout, you can now search for it in your library and start adding it into your training cycles.

Editing, Duplicating or Deleting a Workout

From the Workouts tab, you can manage any workout you’ve created.

  • Tap the three dots on the workout card.

  • You’ll see options to:

    • Edit – update the workout details or change the exercises inside it.

    • Duplicate – create a copy of the workout to quickly reuse or make small adjustments.

    • Delete – remove the workout from your library if it’s no longer needed.

This gives you full control to keep your workout library organised and up to date.
