How Habits Work
Habits are what clients interact with and log inside their app.
However, certain items must be created first before they can be assigned inside a habit.
The following items are created separately, then attached to a habit:
• Check-in photos / poses
• Forms
• Metrics
Once created, these are added into a task-based or metric-based habit and then assigned to a client.
Check-In Photos / Poses
Check-in photos (poses) must be created first before they can be assigned.
Navigate to the Poses tab
You’ll see built-in poses already available
You can also create a new pose if needed
Once your poses are created:
Go to Create New Habit
Name the habit (e.g. “Check-In Photos”)
Select Task-Based Habit
Choose Check-In Photos
Select the poses you want included
Assign the habit to your client
Your client will now be prompted to log those specific check-in photos.
Forms
Forms follow the exact same structure.
First, create your form:
Go to Forms
Create a new form
When building the form, make sure you select Habit (not Service)
Build and save your form
To assign it:
Create a new habit
Select Task-Based Habit
Choose Form Submission
Select your form
Assign it to your client
Your client will now be prompted to complete that form inside their habits.
Metric-Based Habits
Metrics are slightly different.
If the metric already exists (built-in or custom created):
Create a new habit
Select the metric you want the client to log
Name the habit
Set the targets
Save and assign it
The client will now log that specific metric (e.g. weight, steps, measurements) directly inside the habit.
Summary
• Poses, forms, and metrics are created first
• They are then attached to a habit
• The habit is what gets assigned to the client
• The client logs everything through the habit
Habits act as the bridge between what you build and what your client completes.
