Before you begin
Make sure you already have the workouts created that you want to include in your cycle.
If you're unsure how to create a workout, see our guide here: How to Create a Workout.
(You can also create a workout during the process if needed.)
Steps to create a manual training cycle
1. Go to the Training Tab
Navigate to the Training page, then tap on the Cycles section at the top.
2. Create a New Cycle
Tap Add New / Create New Cycle in the bottom-right corner.
Select Manual Cycle Builder to begin creating your cycle from scratch.
3. Add Your Cycle Details
You’ll be taken to the New Cycle page, where you can enter:
Cycle name
Description
Cover image
You can also set or adjust Average Weekly Sets, which will update based on the workouts you assign to each day.
4. Build Out Each Day of the Week
For each of the 7 days, tap the dropdown that defaults to Rest Day.
You’ll be able to choose from three options:
Make Rest Day (keeps the day empty)
Select Workout (choose one of your existing workouts)
Create Workout (build a new workout on the spot)
If you choose Select Workout, your workout list will appear and you can select the one you want for that day.
Repeat this process for each day of the week, setting up your preferred training and rest schedule.
5. Finalise the Cycle
Once you’re satisfied with all seven days—your workouts, rest days, and average weekly sets—tap Finish.
