If a food your client eats is not in the database, add it under My foods. Custom foods appear in the Add food search when you build a nutrition plan.
Create a custom food
In the left menu, click Nutrition, then My foods.
Click + Custom food (top right).
Choose how to create it: Manual entry (type the food details and nutrient information yourself) or Scan label (read the details from the product's packaging). Click Next.
Enter the Food details. Name is required. Brand and UPC are optional. The camera button next to UPC lets you scan a barcode. Click Next.

Set the Servings. Choose the Unit (grams by default), then give the default serving a Name (for example "1 serve") and a Size. Click Add serving size if the food has other serving sizes. Click Next.

Enter the Nutrient details per serving, as listed on the packaging. You can change the Nutrients listed per serving, the Label style and the Energy unit. Click Next.

Check the Confirm new food summary and click Finish. The food is added to My foods and can be used in nutrition plans and recipes.

View or edit a custom food
Click a food in My foods to open its Custom food summary. The Nutrition per dropdown switches between serving sizes. Click the three-dot menu in the top right of the summary and choose Edit to open the Edit custom food wizard, which uses the same steps as above.
